LFD 2014 will be on 2/22/14. The seacoast of NH will field two teams.
We were featured on NH Chronicle earlier this year (http://www.wmur.com/new-hampshire-chronicle/Thursday-March-7th-Live-Freeze-or-Die/-/13383450/19111688/-/lnkvffz/-/index.html).

Date: Saturday, February 22rd
: $175 per team. This includes food (see below) and parking (which happens to be free :) Your bid will be secured when I have your money in my possession. We prefer Paypal. Please email the TD here
for our Paypal address. If you can't use Paypal, we can figure something out.
Sanctioning: Seacoast Ultimate (SU) decided not to sanction LFD this year. No one likes rostering or paying one-time USAU fees.
Gender ratio: 4/3 mixed (4 men, 3 women). I am strongly encouraging this gender ratio (I like women). If you wish, you may negotiate a different ratio with the other captain. If both captains do not agree then you must play 4/3. For example, you have only 2 girls and the other captain has 6. The other captain doesn't budge. You must play a person down!
Captains meeting: 8:45. Let's keep this short and sweet, we all know the drill. And if we actually start on time, we might be able to play a full championship game this year.
Games: start at 9 and end around 4:30 or whenever I, or the captains think that it's too dangerous to continue.
Byes: No byes, it's February!
Teams: 10 teams
Fields: Bremner field and Student Rec field. Both are new turf. See the attached map.
Parking: Parking is free. Please carpool. I recommend parking in A lot where there is plenty of space and an underground tunnel (tunnels are so cool) that crosses Main St. From there, it's a short walk to Bremner field. Attached is a map of UNH campus. Coordinates of A lot for your GPS: 43.140624,-70.936993. Or you can plug in 295 Mast Road, Durham, NH 03824 which will get you close. There are also dirt lots with very limited parking.
Food: If you've been to LFD then you know this is what it's all about! There will be homemade soup, and various other food items (bread, cookies). If you would like to bring soup or other food to share, I highly encourage you to do so. However, Seacoast Ultimate and UNH will provide enough hot soup to keep you warm. Bring a bowl + spoon. We here in New Hampshire like the environment so there won't be any plastic/styrofoam bowls/cups or plastic spoons. Bring extras to provide for those who forget.
